Stewarding for Santa 2012...

Hi guys. A very short post from today, just to say that I stewarded on Shackerstone's three "Santa Special" departures of the day. I was working 'Coach 3': one of the BR Mk1 TSO's. The trains were fairly well loaded for the 2nd weekend of Santa's and so the three stewards on board were kept busy. I was involved in seating my passengers to their allocated tables, serving the adults drinks, giving the children juice and sweets, serving mince pies and many other fetching & carrying jobs. It was a most enjoyable day and the passengers seemed to go away happy, which is the main thing of course. However, tomorrow I'll be glad to get back to my home...on the footplate! Cheers guys. Sam.
